Terms of Service
Effective date: August 8, 2026
Welcome to RevScope (https://revscope.co). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services. By using RevScope, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
TL;DR: Start with a 14-day free trial, then subscribe to keep using RevScope. Stay within your plan’s monthly event limit or upgrade if you exceed it — we keep tracking so you don’t lose data. Cancel anytime; access continues through the end of the period you paid for. Your site data is yours. See also our Privacy Policy.
Overview
RevScope is a revenue attribution analytics service. You can connect one or more websites, install our tracking script, optionally connect payment providers, and use dashboards to understand traffic, conversions, and revenue. When we say “we”, “our”, “us”, or “service” in these Terms, we mean RevScope.
These Terms apply to RevScope’s hosted service. Our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement form part of your agreement with us. Failure to enforce a provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that provision.
Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account, including actions by teammates you invite.
You may not use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
Free trial and subscriptions
New accounts are eligible for a 14-day free trial with access to product features (AI usage may be limited during the trial). Payment details are collected at signup; you are not charged until the trial ends unless you choose otherwise. You can cancel anytime before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
After the trial, a paid subscription is required to keep using the service. Paying customers are billed in advance through our payment provider (Polar). Applicable taxes may be added at checkout. If payment fails or your subscription lapses, we may suspend or restrict access until payment is made.
You can upgrade or downgrade plans in your account settings, subject to the limits of the plan you select. Downgrading may reduce capacity or features available to your account.
Events, usage, and plan limits
What counts as an event. An “event” is any data point tracked by the RevScope script on your website(s). This includes pageviews, payment-related events, and custom events. All event types count equally toward your plan’s monthly event limit.
How events are counted. Events are aggregated across all websites connected to your account during each monthly billing cycle. For yearly subscriptions, usage is still measured in monthly cycles.
No data loss when you exceed a limit. If your usage exceeds your plan’s monthly event allowance, we continue to record events. We do not discard or stop tracking solely because you went over. Your dashboard may be locked until you upgrade to a plan that covers your usage for that cycle. Congrats on the traffic.
Cancellation and termination
You are responsible for canceling your subscription through the billing portal (or other in-product cancellation flow we provide). An email alone is not a reliable cancellation method.
If you cancel before the end of a paid period, cancellation takes effect at the end of that billing cycle and you will not be charged again for the next period. Tracking and access continue until the end of the period you already paid for. After that, access may be restricted and data may eventually be deleted according to our retention practices — export what you need before your paid period ends if you are leaving.
You may request deletion of your account and associated customer data by contacting support. We will delete or anonymize personal account data without undue delay, except where we must retain records (for example billing history required by law). Data retained only in backups may persist for a limited period before permanent deletion.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service or our staff, or create legal or security risk. Abuse of customers, employees, or officers may result in immediate termination.
Modifications and pricing
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service over time. When we change pricing for existing customers, we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email where practicable. We are not liable to you or third parties solely because of a modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.
Your data and privacy
You retain ownership of the analytics and business data you send to RevScope from your websites. We process that data to provide the service. We do not sell or share your data or use visitor analytics from your sites to target advertising. We do not train AI on your data.
For visitor data collected via the script on your websites, you are the data controller and RevScope acts as a data processor. You are responsible for configuring consent and privacy settings appropriately for your audience and for responding to data-subject requests about that data. See our Privacy Policy, GDPR, and consent documentation for how the product works.
Authorized RevScope personnel may access account or usage data when needed to provide support, maintain the service, or protect security. Do not use the service to send highly sensitive personal data such as payment card numbers, government identifiers, or real-time precise geolocation unless a feature expressly requires it and you have a lawful basis.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Abuse, overload, or disrupt the service, or attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
- Resell, sublicense, or white-label the service without our written permission
- Misrepresent affiliation with RevScope, or modify another site to falsely imply such affiliation
- Use the service to violate law, infringe others’ rights, or harm others
Ownership and feedback
The RevScope service, branding, and software are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for your own data, you do not acquire ownership of our service by using it.
If you send feedback or suggestions, you grant us permission to use and incorporate them without restriction or compensation.
Service availability
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that the service will meet every specific requirement you may have. Technical support is provided by email on a reasonable-effort basis.
We use third-party vendors for infrastructure, storage, payments, and related functions. Details appear in our Privacy Policy.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RevScope is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make a significant change, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email. Continued use of the service after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those Terms.
