Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 8, 2026

RevScope (https://revscope.co) values your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

TL;DR: We do not sell or share your data. Analytics data for customer sites is yours, not ours. You can download it or delete it at any time. Our servers and data are hosted in the EU under strong European data protection rules.

Two roles, two kinds of data

Customer account data

If you create an account, we collect the information needed to provide the service: typically your email address, account settings, billing details processed by our payment provider, and support messages you send us. We use this to run your account, send essential service emails (invoices, security, and product notices), and provide support.

A session cookie keeps you signed in. HTTP is stateless - this is required to provide the service.

Data from customer websites

When a customer installs the RevScope script, we process visitor analytics for that customer. We do not sell or share that data, train AI models on it, or use it to target ads. Customers control retention and consent settings for their sites; visitors to those sites should use the customer's own privacy controls and contact that site owner for requests about their data there.

Hosting and security

We host our servers and store analytics and account data in the European Union, subject to GDPR and other strong EU data protection rules. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

To exercise these rights for your RevScope account or this website, email us at the addresses below. For data collected on a customer's website, contact that customer (the data controller) first.

Retention

We keep account data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. Analytics data is retained according to product settings and operational needs, and is not kept longer than necessary for those purposes. You can delete your account by contacting support; we will delete or anonymize personal account data without undue delay, except where we must retain records (for example billing history required by law).

Website visitor data (revscope.co)

We use our own analytics script and PostHog (product analytics) to understand how people use revscope.co — for example referral sources, pages viewed, device and browser type, and city and or country of your Internet provider. The goal is aggregate product and marketing insight. We don't create advertising profiles or do any cross-site tracking.

Depending on your region and choices, we may use a first-party analytics cookie for more accurate attribution, or cookieless measurement that does not store an identifier on your device. We do not sell or share this data or use it for advertising networks.

Your choices on revscope.co

Use the controls below to change how we measure your visits to revscope.co only. These choices do not apply to other websites that use RevScope, and they do not delete your customer account if you have one — contact us for account deletion.

Checking your current analytics preference…

Opt out of cookies

Clears our analytics cookie and keeps cookieless measurement only. We can still see aggregate traffic trends, but not a persistent browser identifier.

Forget me completely

Deletes analytics data associated with your current session on revscope.co and stops all further analytics measurement in this browser until you change your preference.

Your preference is stored in a small consent cookie so we can honor it on return visits. That use of a cookie is necessary to remember an opt-out.

Sharing and subprocessors

We do not sell, trade, or share personal data or analytics data. We share data only with trusted providers that help us operate the service, and only as needed:

Where a provider processes data outside the EU, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

Changes

We may update this policy to reflect product or legal changes. When we make a significant change, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email.
