What is RevScope?
RevScope is revenue attribution analytics for websites. A lightweight script you install on your site tracks your traffic, we sync your payment history from stripe or another merchant provider, and RevScope joins the two so you can see which channels, referrers, content, etc convert to revenue.
How is RevScope different from Google Analytics?
Google Analytics tells you about pageviews and sessions. RevScope connects that with money: revenue per channel, revenue per landing page, estimated revenue per search keyword, MRR, churn, and conversion funnels that end in a payment. RevScope is simpler to learn and use. It's also privacy-friendly, so you don't need a cookie banner. It's robust against ad-blockers, allowing you to see the most complete picture of your traffic.
How does the free trial work?
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. You enter your payment details when you sign up, but you're charged nothing today. The first charge happens only after the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then.
Which payment providers are supported?
RevScope has integrations for Stripe, Shopify, Square, Lemon Squeezy, Polar, and Dodo Payments. You can connect multiple providers at once, and revenue from all of them is combined in your dashboard. If we don't support your payment provider Contact us.
What counts as an event?
An event is any data point tracked by the RevScope script installed on your site: pageviews, payments, and custom events all count equally toward your plan's monthly event limit. Events are aggregated across all websites/projects connected to your account during each monthly billing cycle.
What happens if I get more events than my plan?
We keep tracking your events so you never lose data. You'll just need to upgrade to a larger plan to access your dashboard again. Congrats on all the traffic!
Is RevScope GDPR compliant? Do I need a cookie banner?
RevScope is privacy-friendly by design: no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting, no selling of data. Outside the EU, cookies improve attribution accuracy; in regions that require consent (EU, UK, Brazil) the script automatically uses cookieless, server-side attribution instead, so no cookie banner is needed for RevScope. It's compatible with GDPR, ePrivacy, and the latest CNIL guidance.
Can visitors delete their RevScope analytics data?
Yes. Call dispatch("set_consent", "disabled") to erase the analytics sessions associated with the visitor and stop all further tracking. See the consent documentation.
Will the script slow down my site?
No. The script is about 7kb gzipped, loads deferred (does not block or delay loading or rendering). It has no measurable impact on page load times or Core Web Vitals.
Does RevScope work across subdomains?
Yes. Create your project under your root domain (e.g. example.com) and install the same snippet on any subdomains (app.example.com, blog.example.com). Sessions are unified so a visitor who lands on your blog and buys in your app is attributed correctly. You could also track a subdomain as an independent project if you prefer (requires growth plan.)
Does it work with single-page apps?
Yes, it works out of the box with SPAs like React. The script tracks History API navigations and hash changes automatically. Even declarative event attributes added dynamically work as you'd expect.
Can I see which SEO keywords drive revenue?
Yes. Connect Google Search Console and RevScope shows the search queries driving your traffic. You can see clicks, impressions, positions, and estimated revenue per keyword.
Do I need to make money to use RevScope?
Not at all. RevScope is a great analytics tool on its own. Traffic sources, pages, audience, funnels, and custom events all work without a payment integration. Connect one whenever you're ready.
How do I cancel?
You can cancel your subscription anytime from the billing portal. Tracking continues until the end of your paid period, and your data stays available for export.
